Would Brock have lost to a pre surgery Hong Man?

Before the tumor was removed, Choi was a 7 ft killer with some dangerous striking. Brock has a good chin, but clearly hates being hit hard in the face and wilts when it happens. Could he have gotten inside for a takedown on a guy with a massive reach advantage without getting hit clean? He's still green now, he was super green 4 or 5 years ago (remember spastic Brock?).

If Choi wins that fight, the landscape today is completely different and the history of MMA is changed forever. Zuffa is lucky he wasn't approved, even if they didn't know it then.

ive always thought about that too. hong-man is a formidable fighter . i still think brock would of been able to take him down and pound him out. brock is extremely fast for a HW and would of had a leg before hong-man even cocked a punch IMO, but it still would of been interesting to see what could of happened. at that point brock had little training and if hong-man ended up on top brock wasnt going to arm bar him a la fedor. thats definitely a fight i wish we would of been able to see.

Speed kills. Brock would have pounced all over him.
Best reason to have a license.
