Clowe skated this morning, McLellan says he "feels pretty good."

Rumor is that he may be dealing with a mild concussion but take that with a grain of salt.

Franzen is a GTD as well.

It happens all the time vs the Wings, its the other teams final attempt at letting out their frustration. Blowing a 3-0 cannot get anymore frustrating.

It's been reported it was a flu, upper body injury, etc. Who knows the truth really. Was he held out of game 5 for any prolonged period of time? It's the new NHL rule to hold someone out for like 20 minutes when they get their bell rung isn't it? I don't recall him sitting out.


I hope Franzen plays over Modano, he'd probably be more of a liability in his current state. Modano is playing the end of his career and will leave nothing in the gas tank.

I don't think Clowe missed a single shift after taking the hit from Kronwall. I'm assuming that is where he got banged up.

He got right back up and skated all over the ice without any problem. But I don't get why anyone would try to mask an injury as a concussion since it's become such a hot topic.
