Pettis is getting the screws put to him.

"That kid's in a bad position," said White. "He's supposed to be the next in line. All this craziness happens. [Edgar and Maynard] both get hurt, and it gets pushed back again. The first one is a draw, then they get hurt, and it gets pushed back again. But this is one of those things that happens in a sport like this."

Speaking earnestly, White admitted that Pettis' retention of a guaranteed title shot will last only if he gets past Guida, and then likely someone else.

"I respect [Pettis] for stepping up and taking on a tough guy like Guida, and he'll probably have to fight again before he gets a shot at one of those guys," he said. "Sucks for him. It's a shi**y position for him to be in."

"Sometimes I just want to be with my family and watch movie and eat some popcorn. But when I step on the mat I know there is no other place I'd rather be." - Marcelo Garcia

        Situation changes, oh well.

Hopefully Pettis can get by Guida. MORE SHOWTIME!

          Pettis is sick with it.

I'm actually looking forward to this main event.

Much like Dana, you never did give a flying fuck about Pettis.

I never did get why most people were/are so butthurt over the title situation.

I like Pettis as much as the next guy, but it's not the end of the world.

Elsewhere, wonder how more jacked up Kingsbury will be. Slowly turning into a pretty good up-and-comer.

Sucks Grispi/Roop is on the undercard, but I hope Grispi gets back on the wagon.
