thats another story, 2 guys who have very good ground games, a lot of sub wins, etc...kept it standing the entire fight, I don't think anyone committed for a takedown in that fight

It would have actually been better for Shamrock to beat Franklin, because Shamrock was the biggest name they had at the time (well, maybe Chuck, but whatever) and hadn't been exposed yet.

That fight was a win/win, perfect booking. Ended up perfect too, because Ken didn't look awful in defeat and they squeezed the Tito fights out of him. If anything, Franklin worked that fight and sold the leglock.
