Report: Brett Rogers Arrested

Strikeforce heavyweight Brett Rogers reportedly faces several charges after police responded to a domestic disturbance call on Wednesday.
According to a report filed by Minnesota news station WCCO -- Minneapolis' CBS affiliate -- Rogers faces charges of stalking, third-degree assault, domestic assault by strangulation and endangerment of a child.
Rogers, who lives in the Minneapolis suburb of Apple Valley, is alleged to have engaged in an argument with his wife on Wednesday evening that turned violent. Rogers' bail has reportedly been set at $100,000 with conditions. The fighter made his first court appearance on Thursday.
Known as “The Grim,” Rogers had his breakout performance in 2009 when the EliteXC veteran knocked out former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski in just 22 seconds. Rogers would then fall on hard times, however, as he was knocked out by both Fedor Emelianenko and Alistair Overeem in Strikeforce competition. Though the 30-year-old would rebound from the loss by outpointing journeyman Ruben Villareal this past October, Rogers was most recently dominated by Josh Barnett on June 18 in the first round of Strikeforce's heavyweight grand prix
