Jose Theodore is heading to Florida.
The Florida Panthers have signed the veteran goaltender to a two-year $3 million contract.
The 34-year-old Theodore spent last season with the Minnesota Wild appearing in 32 games and posting a record of 15-11-3 with a .916 save percentage and a 2.71 GAA.
He is expected to be the starting goaltender for the Panthers next season.
Theodore began his career with the Montreal Canadiens after being drafted by the club with the 44th overall pick in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft.
He had arguably his best season with club in 2002 where he posted a .931 save percentage, 2.11 GAA and a 30-24-10 record and won the Vezina Trophy.
Over his career he has a 260-232-55 record with a .909 save percentage and 2.69 goals against.
Theodore has stops in Montreal, Colorado, Washington and Minnesota in his career.
