Something interesting I just realized.

I have paid for two TNA shows in my life, this show tonight, and the Hardcore Justice show last year. Both shows were basically nostalgia shows featuring a ton of talent not on the TNA roster, and neither show focused on TNA storylines.

I have paid for two TNA shows in my life, this show tonight, and the Hardcore Justice show last year. Both shows were basically nostalgia shows featuring a ton of talent not on the TNA roster, and neither show focused on TNA storylines.

The only TNA PPV I ever paid for (did pay to go to a pair of house shows tho) was one of those weekly's back in 2002. Don't remember specifics other than there was a ladder match, Jerry Lynn, A.J. Styles, Ron Killings, Road Dogg and probably Jeff Jarrett and the SAT involved.

The show this year sure did suck beyond the HHH/Taker match (I know Warner hated it) and the most historical aspect will be the fact it turned out to be the final match of Edge's career.

Yeah, that match wasn't very good IMO. And I looooove me some Edge, but I wouldn't fork over 50 bucks for just that and random Rock segments.

And I bought a number of TNA PPVs between 06 and 08, and I think 1 or 2 in 09. But they can't get my money now. The Hogan/Bisch duo killed my interest for the product, and the release of Jay Lethal was the final nail in the coffin. Here's a guy I remember seeing on the old FSN days (I think Nash was in the ME back then) and not knowing who the hell he was. And he just got better and did the best with whatever shit they gave him. And then, in WWE fashion, just deliberately ignored him. He got a more raw deal than Styles, Joe, Pope, Kong, Eric Young, etc. I just can't even pretend to support that trashcan of a promotion. Even though I loved Austin Starr his first go-around. And the PCS.
