ugh, I'm depressed, lol
frank got whooped, in the first 2 minutes I seen the writing on the wall, he had no answer, speed wasnt there, timing wasnt on and nick frustarted him from the start, it was tough to watch
frank needs to trian with other people, do a real camp if he wants to compete with the new guys it seems, cant just box and train with some guys at the gym, needs to switch it up, go train at xtreme couture or maybe with bas
his ribs were jacked before the fight, but that wasnt the problem, only when nick caught him at the end right in the spot that was hurt, but it was over before that
congrats to nick, glad he showed some good respect at the end
all in all, was a great night of fights, it was a great show
crowd was pumped for both fighters, but the funny part was every time they showed gina she got just as much hype as frank and nick, they showed her on the big screen like crazyLiquidrob's Top 10 Fighters Rankings

Show was similar to EXC (Gus and Mauro only worked maybe 3, 4 times together so can't expect they get acquainted too well) in its presentation, but definitely smoother. Pat Miletich was solid as the technical voice.
Commentary was fine (no overreactions from Gus this time out lol).
No stupid dancers or musical performances between fights was appreciated, show had a good flow to it.

I could picture you shaking your head numerous times during the Diaz/Shamrock fight. It made me giggle.Comment

Weren't you the guy that argued with me over at MM that boxers would beat the shit out of mma fighters? I may be mistaken, but I think that was you.So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

It looked good. Mauro, Gus and Pat were good on commentary. The production was similar to that of Elite XC, but as Empire said, no dancers and/or bad music between fights was a good look. I liked the pre-fight intros for the fighters aswell, well put together.

anyway, I went back and watched the fight, frank was not right, I am not making an excuse,...but his ribs/torn oblique had to have some effect
when I went to hang out with him 2 weeks ago, his ribs were all taped up and he told me he torn his oblique
he just didnt have the snap, the power, and was just pawing, never really threw a power shot, even with a broken arm against cung he was throwing full force shots even in the 3rd round
frank has now fought multiple shows with bad injuries, he wont pull out of a fight this close
against elvis he had a torn shoulder, phil a blown knee and now his oblique
I'm not taking anything away from nick, he put it on frank, but you can tell frank was not frank or maybe diazs style just fucked him up, idk, but it sucked, lolLiquidrob's Top 10 Fighters Rankings
