Interesting thoughts from Meltzer...as of earlier in the week, they had only sold 4500 tickets for UFC 133 and 4000 tickets for the Milwaukee Versus show.

He believes the days of people buying tickets to see the UFC brand is dead with the increased shows, and people are now buying tickets based on specific fights.

Under a month out and not even 5,000 tickets to 133? That's bad.

Guy at UG, who apparently has some sources says Spike is back in the UFC sweepstakes. The G4 deal is falling apart, meanwhile, FOX is in some type of talks with them to have primetime specials.

Says the UFC is surprised that offers are not as lucrative as they thought they would be.


The rumor mill continues to churn re: UFC TV in 2012 and beyond.
