I think all of those have a certain impact plus most managers are happy to use defensive tactics and try for the draw on the road.

Such as Sam Allardyce trying to get a draw on the road... at Derby... and losing... giving them their only win all year.

It is difficult. It used to be difficult in other sports like NFL football, but generic stadiums and pricing average fans out of the stands has changed it. But it goes beyond rabid fans. Clubs will do things like tailor their pitch to their play style. When you are travelling for European matches, you can have brutal travel schedules, foreign food and ammenities to deal with, etc. When the situation is taken to extremes, you end up having Barcelona struggling to get points when visiting Russian clubs, etc.

Tough week for the Crew as they drew with San Jose and fell behind one point. 3 Games left.

Dear Martin Atkinson, I feel the need to point three things out.

                  1. When De Jong gets none of the ball and breaks Ben Arfa's leg... you should probably at least call a foul if not a booking.

2.When our defender gets the ball and nothing else in the box... that is NOT a penalty

3.When they take Ameobi out in the box and get none of the ball... that is called a penalty

Thanks for handing them an undeserved win

Never thought he was up to it and I didn't want hodgson in the first place but was willing to give him a chance but I've just about had enough. If we don't turn this around and Blackpool manage to hold on, he has to go.

Who else is going to take the job? It's one of the least attractive jobs in england right now imo

Bad team, high expectations and no money.

That was a vomit inducing first half. The back four are making Blackpool look like Brazil while are attacks are weak at best and none of the attempts have really even been good.

Also, what does Christian Poulsen actually do? Like seriously, what does he do?

He's the Nigel De Jong of Liverpool. It basically means he chases things down and attempts to kick the opponent but offers nothing on the ball.

Kenny Dalglish, my favourite would be O'Neill but doubt he would touch us with a 10 foot pole given the ownership situation. I knew it was gonna be a rough season but it's taking the piss, 18th and the league and losing to Blackpool at Anfield, c'mon, he's a decent manager but I've always felt the job was too big for him.

I've been in Chicago all weekend, so I wasn't planning on waking up for the Newcastle game. I had a chance, but I decided against it. Really glad I did, I'd be fuming right now.
