- Fergie chose a shit lineup i thought. Why there was no Scholes to start.
- Entire midfield played like nasty but. (Barca midfield played great) Anderson looked pathetic, Giggs looked slow, Carrick was bad, and all three had no input into the game. Park is my favortie player but he didnt do anything either.
I think Scholes was brought on too late, but that probably wouldn't have made a huge difference. It seemed like ManU's offense was being run through Michael Carrick, which was retarded. I think Sylvinho played a fantastic game...the presumed weak spot of Barca just wasn't there for ManU.Comment

Messi's goal was nice, drifting in behind ignorant "diamond geezer" Ferdinand. Typical Rio, not picking up the striker peeling off him to leave him helpless when a decent cross is put in.
You're a trip, man. ManU made the finals this year, won it last year, yet they are overrated. You've made some golden posts in this thread. Keep it up.Comment

Yeah, I don't know why more wasn't made of Fergie's questionable lineup. There was no way ManU could compete with Barca in midfield...I think class players like Tevez and Berbatov would have given Barca's patchwork defense some trouble. Anderson and Park are nice players and good backups, but to put them in the lineup at the expense of a Tevez or Berbatov is ridiculous.

I was hoping he would have played two bonafied wingers, to attack where they were supposed to be weak. I think he thought about it too much and outsmarted himself. A tradtional 4-4-2 with Giggs and Ronny on the wings would have helped them much more.Comment

Evra actually gave up the ball in a bad position, so ManU's defense had to shift over to compensate for Evra's mistake, leaving Messi open on the far post.

I'll happily keep up good comments about teams I like and shit comments about team I hate - it's what football fans do.Comment

I obviously make homer comments because I hate them. Besides that I still think they are overpriced and overrated by the constant good press they receive - as if they can do no wrong and are perfect when they're far from it.

Can do no wrong - Yea they can do alot wrong, try Wed night, and Fergie is catching alot of shit for the choices he made.Comment

Looking back he signed Figo in 2000, Zidane in 2001, Ronaldo in 2002. What a group of players!Comment
