I kind of don't want to finish 5th. Europa would just be a distraction when we really just need to focus on the Premier League and finishing top 3. That extra rest will be vital.

I don't really buy that line of thinking. Especially in the new world of finances. We need any and all extra money coming in that we can get. Plus it's important to the players that we are playing in Europe, they've all said as much.

While most of our recent success is because of Dalglish, Suarez and just a better overall morale level at the club, you can't deny the fact that we've played better since being eliminated from Europa. Its allowed the players more rest and we've been able to keep, for the most part, the same eleven on the field.

I understand the players want trophies and owners want money, but I think our main focus should be the Premier League next season. If we do make Europa, I'd hope we don't play our best eleven, even in the knock out round.

Ash Young might just help out. But make sure your boys dont overpay for him. No more than 10 mil IMO...I wont be sad as much as I love him to see him playing for LFC, if LFC spent 15+ Mil on him. If they got him cheap, that would sting a bit.
