Tesco is almost a luxury store up here. Love me some Rowan Glen Strawberry Yogurts when I can get my hands on them.

Aquilani not being in the squad is disappointing. He was one of if not our best player during the friendlies this summer. Also it appears Enrique and Suarez are in the starting 11.

Edu's entire career with Rangers was summed up in the first half when he took a shocking first touch and it ended up looking like he'd just skinned a guy deliberately. I've never known of a central midfielder to get so many fortuitous bounces when poaching at the back post.

£2m for a player whose entire success hinges on no skill and complete luck.

One more goal in this game and I win some straight cash homey so let's get some crosses in Rangers. Or Caley, whatever.

I wanted to start following the EPL last year but it's so tough for an American to follow 1 team as there's only 1 game on each week.

Heels moved to England just so he could watch Sky Sports Soccer Saturday.

Heels and the rest of the Liverpool supporters, best of luck, although us Mackems need a little luck if we want to come away with this one. Predictions?

I say Sunderland 1 - 0 Liverpool. Gyan scores in the 50th and Wearside holds on.

Just added the sports package to my cable service so I get Fox Soccer and all the other channels so that should help me keep up.

I am interested to see sunderlands new squad play together.

Still Liverpool will probably win, save for when gyan burns carra for a pk

Without Stevie G and against a team that's added some defenders I don't expect a romp. That said if this was last year and Stevie G was out I'd be predicting a draw lulz.

Sunderland by the way, have only scored 3 goals in their last 14 games against 'Pool.

Sometimes I wonder why it's so hard for almost everyone to whip in a low, hard ball like that
