Everton striker Aiyegbeni Yakubu is believed to have signed for Blackburn Rovers.
Reports are that the once prolific striker is to leave Everton during this transfer window and join the Lancashire club as yet the fee and terms are unknown and with the news of Jermaine Beckford going to Leicester this could spell trouble for the depleted front of Everton who are already struggling for goals.

21:25 – Mikel Arteta’s agent has apparently made moves to push through a move to Arsenal after the London club had cooled their interest in the Spaniard.

Recent news from Everton.

20 minutes to go, and amazingly no final word on ANY transfer. Beckford and Yakubu are pretty much gone, but still no official word. Arteta... less said about that the better. Shane Duffy out on loan is the only one confirmed.

Royston Drenthe and Denis Stracqualursi still not confirmed as signings yet either...
