Smart move by the UFC, I said it years ago and everyone laughed, they need to keep phasing Dana out of the spotlight, his usefullness has worn out, they should have doen it sooner, but they liked playign to the douche crowd, those days are over it seems

Lorenzo has been showing up more and more lately

I think it's safe to say Brock is just looking for a payday if he fights

His coach just said 'he is doing good, in vacation in canada' (hunting I guess)

Has this guy trained once since his loss? He never had a good MMA foundation to begin with, thrown right into the title spot, never went through the day in day out training that is MMA, he is killing praire dogs with machine guns and on vacation all the time, to expect this guy to be in top shape is crazy IMO

I compared in the past the training of Cain to Brock and how you should come up in MMA, it showed, now it keeps getting worse

He's been full payday mode for a long time.

Look at his fight style. He has no interest in seeing a second round. He comes out like a bull in a china shop, James Thompson style, and looks for the quick finish (either way). His skill set says he should be a grind it out, overpowering wrestler who wears you down with his strength and then pounds you out. Instead, he fights like Vitor Belfort or Wandy. His advisers are probably telling him to make sure the fights are quick, decisive, and exciting. I'm sure he has a will to win, and wants to win, but he doesn't love what he does, to him it's a job and he's out to make the most bank.

I'm sure he's been in 100% payday mode since the first bout with diverticulitis.

He had about 2-years of MMA training before his UFC debut and he was thrown in with Mir right off the bat. Obviously, his striking is subpar and his entire game is based around brute strength and then wrestling.

He threw bombs at Cain but didn't land anything while basically sitting in the pocket and eating all of his shots...which he just can't do.

For Overeem, with drug testing, he won't be as jacked up as if he was fighting in Japan. Still, he's obviously dangerous as hell. Overeem will worry about the takedown but his defense may be underrated and that nasty guillotine is always a threat. But if Brock can put him on his back and not get subbed in the process, it's his fight to lose.

You got all that based on a 15 second clip of Overeem signing his contract beside Lorenzo?

If Brock didnt luck out vs Carwin he wouldnt even be fighting right now.. hes one bad loss away from saving himself the embarrassment IMO.

Rob is right, you've seen more of Lorenzo in the last few months then in the past half decade. Ufc is trying to run a legit business model now.. its time to get away from that loud mouth, vulgar shit if you're going to be mainstream.

Lorenzo made the call for Cain/JDS on FOX, fwiw.

Didn't Lorenzo start becoming more of a public power broker when his brother stepped down or sold some of his shares? I remember it happening but it's a vague memory now.

Brock Lesnar is the type of guy that doesn't love anything he does, seemingly.

He is this huge athlete, but doesn't love anything. Tried wrestling...successful at it, didn't love it, left. Tried football...successful considering he never really played yet was given a psquad spot, didn't love it or didn't succeed to a certain level, left. Tried MMA, successful, says he loves it, but "medical issues" have him out of the game for a while TWICE.

He and Shawn Michaels should just hunt animals for the rest of their lives.
