The best part was the random heels like Tenryu and Jeff Jarrett that helped stuff Taker into the casket.

          Why not?

          I've got one for you.

          The Big Event (1986)

Drew the outdoor record of 61,470. Main event was Hulk Hogan vs. Paul Orndorff blowoff match. Not a PPV, but obviously a major show.

ROH The Era of Honor Begins (2002)

First ROH show. Eddie Guerrero vs. Super Crazy, and the three way main event that essentially changed indy wrestling for the next decade, Bryan Danielson vs. Low Ki vs. Christopher Daniels.

              Let me nit pick...

A few typos....it was Eddie vs Super Crazy on the ROH debut...It's El Hijo Del Santo, no Dos...Marufuji is mispelled....the AAA PPV was at the LA Sports arena, and was on U.S. PPV promoted by WCW. Maybe U.S. misc is a better category than international? It's a gray area.

                WCW Collision in Korea

Two day show that "drew" a combined 340,000 people (North Korean government forced people to go by law, very few legit tickets sold). The 190,000 figure for Day 2 is obviously a record, although not the paid record.

Main event was Ric Flair vs. Antonio Inoki, also Steiners vs. Hiroshi Hase & Kensuke Sasaki and Shinya Hashimoto defended the IWGP title vs. Scott Norton.

Aired on PPV on tape delay a few months later.

Wild Pegasus (Benoit) def. Great Sasuke is a classic match in the finals.

                    1995 Super J Cup (WAR)

Look at that damn picture! Jericho, Benoit, Liger, Gedo, Gran Naniwa, Damian 666, Funaki, Ultimo Dragon, Otani, Dos Caras, El Samurai, Masaaki Mochizuki...and Rey Misterio & Psicosis in a non tournament match.

The Mysterio/Psicosis match was their Japan debut....Lionheart (Jericho) vs. Wild Pegasus (Benoit) was a historical quarterfinal....Liger def. Ultimo Dragon in the semis....Liger def. underdog story Gedo in the finals.

Dragon Gate USA "Open the Historic Gate"/"Enter the Dragon" (PPV version) (2009)

Full verison of the show won Best Major Show of the Year for 2009 in the Observer Awards. Nothing on the PPV portion was below 4*, most was better. Just an amazing exhibition of progressive wrestling.

I just looked this up. I co-sign, I remember this now, what a fucking show this was.

Aside from the ladder war for the tag belts, you had Aries vs. Davey Richards and a Danielson vs. Morishima World Title match. The OPENER was Nigel vs. Marufuji vs. Chris Hero vs. Claudio Castagnoli. THE OPENER.
