I like the Savage match more...and I am sure you will, too.

Hogan match is good for Hogan...both guys bring it. I won't tell the ending so I don't spoil it.

I'm a Tenryu mark, and Savage always brings it. Can't wait.

So, here is my issue with some of the ECW Pay Per Views...most of them, when looking back, kind of sucked and don't hold up, so its tough to put them into canon. Barely Legal, obviously. I haven't seen Heatwave 98 in probably a decade. The only redeeming thing that stands out from Anarchy Rulz 99 was the Awesome/Tanaka match, but this was in an era of ECW where things aren't vintage to me.

Can we expand into BIG ECW shows that were essentially their PPVs before they went to PPV?

                    Another one to discuss...WrestleMania X.

IMO, two legitimate 5* matches in the Razor Ramon/Shawn Michaels Ladder Match (one of my personal favorite matches) as well as Bret Hart/Owen Hart.

However, the rest would be considered DUDs and trash.

                    Thoughts?

                      Another to discuss...

                      Clash of the Champions 6.

Lots of average and junk...but one full hour of Flair-Steamboat.

Does a great match or two make an event might be the best question to ask right now.

I think VI and I should be included. I had the Flair/Sting draw and both of these shows went head to head with WrestleMania, which were major stories at the time during the war.

                              What's to discuss?

Bret/Owen was one of the best WM matches of all-time. Plus, it set-up Owen as a legit main event contender for the summer.

Razor/Shawn revolutionized pro wrestling with that one match.

I loved all of those Clash's. They were a great mix of good main events, great tag matches (you always got Midnight Express, Samoan Swat Team, Road Warriors, Doom, etc), squash matches where they put over new guys, wacky shit like Ranger Ross, Cactus Jack vs. Mil Mascaras, etc, just a real odd eclectic hodgepodge mix of wrestling.
