The reason why I think this is Washington's year is because they finally have a goalie that is capable of taking them to a Stanley Cup in Tomas Vokoun. This is easily the best team Vokoun has had around him and he's considerably better than Varlamov, Neuvirth and Theodore. Plus they got rid of the playoff slacker Semin, which I think will help things.
