"Dana, what about mixing rosters, and so called superfights?"

    "Business as usual."

Cung going to get KO'd, such a bad match up for him, he is barely a MW, most of his fights were at 180

By the way, MMA writer Jeremy Botter says there are more of these "business as usual" fights in the works, so the complete dismantling of SF is upon us.

Of course, Botter is consistantly wrong and hates my guts because I'm the only one on the Meltzer board with the guts to call him out, so he wouldn't elaborate on the fights. His PM response was "I would never tell you".

SF id dead, dead the day they were bought, I feel bad for the fighters because Zuffa has no desire to promote them and they're putting guys in 'must win' fights and weeding guys out

Anyway, I would like to see Jacare vs Sonnen after he wins tonight

Mousasi vs Shogun, a lot of great fights they could make

-Botter claimed during the Overeem mess that a "source" told him Zuffa didn't want to do another show in October due to the staff being overworked. This was obviously bullshit, because Zuffa asked Showtime for a date, and Showtime turned them down for various reasons. I told him either his source was full of shit or he was a liar. Botter later admitted he was wrong, and was mearly speculating.

-Botter claims he was told Overeem asked for his release, and was not fired. If you recall, I mentioned that here. I pressed him on it since I didn't see that reported anywhere else, includng by Botter himself on his own column or blog. Obviously Overeem quitting changes the entire dynamic of the story. He eventually posted an ambiguous Overeem quote from MMA Live as his "proof" Overeem quit.

-Botter claimed the TUF fights were not exhibitions. Obviously that's incorrect. When I called him out, he posted an email he got from Keith Kizer stating that TUF fights haved always been official fights. I said, yeah, well, Kizer is lost too. As a reporter, you should have pressed him on that.

-Botter repeatedly reports fights are "official" according to "sources", and then the fights never happen. Everyone hates me for pointing this out, because now he won't post fight rumors anymore. Thing is, he reports them as fact. That's my issue with him.

-Botter did a blog post on the Overeem situation 2 days after Meltzer put out the WO that covered the same story. It was as close to plagerism as you can get. Same thoughts, same info, same article. I pointed this out and got murdered on the board.

Botter is a geek who recently moved to Vegas and believes everything he hears. Everyone on the board marks out because he's a writer, but to me that means he should be more responsible with what he says. All his stuff has the Zuffa spin. He makes shit up half the time. He sucks.

He really said the TUF fights were official? The hell? It's common knowledge the fights that take place on the show are exhibitions because otherwise, they would have to report the results immediately.

Yes. You can find the thread yourself, somebody asked if the TUF fights would be official now since they will air live. I called bullshit and he posted the Kizer email. Kizer said they have aLways been official and still will be. Kizer is lost, so is Botter.

Lol @ those of you who believed this shit wouldnt happen this fast. I told EVERYONE Nick and GSP would be done before the year, Empire nearly lost his shit defending Dana and Co., that shit was made, and I said it would just open the gates, and its proving to be the truth. Not as if it was a bold prediction, everyone should've saw this coming.

I admit to being somewhat surprised with how they've treated SF this way this soon. Sooner they get rid of SF, the better. There's very little to look at and see a meaningful promotion. Everyone knows they're in limbo until the eventual move when most of the names end up in the UFC.

At this rate, it really is 100% about quality of fights and nothing else (draws, big names, etc.).
