I wonder why Ortiz even threw that headbutt, he hit PBF a couple times, got him in the corner, what a maroon

Because he was getting frustrated that Floyd was working him for 3 rounds. Ortiz had like a 14% connection percentage.

yes, but he actually hit him a couple times before forcing him into the corner, no reason to throw it than

Did anybody see espn this morning, Ortiz said he didn't defend the shots because he wanted the Ref to dq mayweather for hitting him. Imo it was a big misunderstanding and nobody gives Floyd credit. Even when he got the knockout one commentator says he stepped on Ortiz foot causing him to fall, smh, where was Earl hebner at, cause it looked like something Vince would put together.

Didn't see the fight live, sounds pretty questionable, but Floyd would have won either way so WGAF?

If that is true, then Ortiz is a dummy.

That doesn't make any sense since Ortiz wasn't hit until he was knocked out. How was he suppose to know Mayweather was suppose to hit him?

He's a dummy for not defending himself.

He said he looked at the Ref after the first hit to see if he would dq or deduct a point from mayweather. So I'm assuming he didn't think the fight had been restarted. I thought he was giving mayweather a free shot for what he had done, he was being too buddy buddy for all that no respect stuff he's been talking about.

Crap just realized I might as well have copied and pasted W2B response here in other thread.

I hope everyone in here saying it was ok get there teams QB decapitated by some lineman on an INT return.

everyone who is screaming at Mayweather or the Ref needs to listen to what Teddy Atlas said about it.. Ortiz was mentally beaten and looking for ways out of the fight, first by head butting, and then by looking to the ref when he thought he had been hit with a cheap shot, so rather than being in the ring to fight he quit because he knew he couldn't win. It was clear to me during the fight that he had nothing for PBF, he was missing way more than he was landing and it was only going to end up as another boring one sided decision for Floyd.

I said close to the same thing in the other thread, Ortiz is somewhat of a head case, this fight was to big for him and he wasnt ready for it

                            He got discouraged.

It was evident that Floyd could sit right there and throw straight rights, consistently and still dodge Ortiz afterwards. Ortiz has solid power and once he got Floyd on the ropes, Floyd would duck or escape throwing the left hook, connecting.

Then it got to the point where he landed everything, Ortiz got mad when he got hit pretty nice, and I thought Ortiz was stunned a bit.

Ortiz wasn't landing much of anything. The flurry he did have before that headbutt, he hit Floyd maybe 1-2 times flush...he got frustrated and lunged forward lol...stupid ass, that's what he gets.

That 1st left seemed to be the punch that sent the birds around his head...the right just sent his ass to the canvas.
