The Leafs close the gap to 7 points. The Sabres just lost to the Isles, who only dressed 19 and were missing 8 regulars (most of them being their better players).

It's always exciting to watch the Leafs surge in late Feb/early March.

        actually

at the time of your post, the stars sit 11th.

the slow start and injuries killed you guys, you have a great club that's built to win right now too.

whether you get in or not, I doubt you guys can get that far.

The only team I'm actually afraid of playing in the playoffs would be Edmonton.

Whenever the Wings play Nashville or Edmonton, they give us such a hard time it isn't even funny.
            Perfect example is last night.
Last night was the worst game the Wings have played this season.

Obviously there'll be some changes in the standings until the season ends, but i think i'm content on that projected list right now.

            RIP West

it's gonna change many times throughout march.

nashville is making a push right now, be scurrrred. lol.

st. louis has climbed from the basement of the west to just 3 points of a playoff spot. the west is such a crazy race right now it's nothing i've ever seen before. at this point i'd only write off colorado and phoenix.

right, it will definitely be interesting to see who actually makes the playoffs in the West, cause like you said, the only teams that don't have a shot are Colorado and Phoenix.

I'm fine with any match up the Wings are faced with

Flyers or Habs won't do anything past second round.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

                          "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

I was watching the MTL vs. DAL game last night and its crazy how many Canadien fans show up in other cities venue. Shitty hockey cities like Atlanta and Florida already have their stadiums about half full but of those 10,000 people at least half of them are wearing Canadien jerseys in the stands lol. This goes for pretty much every other city in the NHL Canadien fans just show up everywhere. No doubt MTL biggest hockey market in da world.

I know you have a hard on for the Canadien's, but they don't compare to Toronto Maple Leaf fans, and I'm not even a Leaf fan. The ACC is always sold out and the Leafs haven't won a cup in 41 years OR been in the playoffs for the last 3 (going to be 4) years.

Montreal does have a big fan base, but it doesn't hold a stick to Toronto.
