I can't figure out Montreal's fascination with Carey Price.
IMO, he's the most overrated prospect since Alexandre Daigle.
The kid simply can't handle the Montreal spotlight and, at best, is an average goalie ... yet Montreal treats him like he's the successor to Dryden and Roy.
Just because you're picked 5th overall doesn't mean you're a legit NHL star.
I'm not saying Price is costing Montreal this series - Boston has been the better team and Montreal is taking way too many stupid penalties - but Price is not getting it done. An underdog needs its goalie to steal a game. I'd be happy if Price stole a period.
The kid is too nervous, makes mistakes handling the puck and simply is not as good as advertised.

Went to the Chicago vs. Calgary game today at the United Center. Blackhawks were down 2-0 at the end of the 1st. Then boom, three goals in the second. Game finished 3-2 Chicago. Awesome game. Somehow my brother got Club Seats too. Got free food and drinks and shit. It was pretty sweet.

That's a bit much IMO. Daigle was a complete bust.

This is nothing more than the usual sophomore slump. Almost every rookie in every sport that has a good first year follows it up with a chump season.

Dave is entirely right here. Your building was half empty until mid season. Doesn't knock your fan hood as I've seen Heels around all season talking about hockey, but as a fan base in general the Bruins are 5th in priority in Boston.

and fuck the NHL for suspending Lucic for a game. I understand the rule of the crosscheck to the head, but it looks like he hits him with the glove, and the NHL in their statement even brought up that they're not sure if it was the glove or the stick. So basically a suspension on "well, maybe he did"...and it's not like it was out of the blue, Lapierre went in to confront Lucic.
I just think, if you're going to suspend Lucic for this, Hunwick should have had a great case against that puss Komisarek.

Lucic deserves the suspension but Lapierre deserved a suspension for his actions in game 1 but didnt get one. The NHL said no trying to send messages when the game is out of reach and I am pretty sure hitting Phil Kessel with 13 seconds left after he scores is trying to send a message.

Lapierre probably deserved one game, but he's not as important to the Habs as Lucic is to Boston. Lucic is your team's heart and soul ... so I'll be glad to see him watching from the pressbox in game 3. If I'm lucky, game 4 too, but I doubt it'll be more than one game.
