He was looking up the field the whole time I don't even know if he ever saw parker there. That being said, Mario still got the last laugh

Yea but who will get the last laugh when the FA gets his ass for that. That was foul as fuck from him. He knew what he was doing. He was trying to kick him. In the head, probably not, but thats where he got him.

Shitty caught the breaks today. Lescott, and Balotelli lucked out.

On to Arsenal and United. Good result. Alex Oxade is going to be the player. He looks light years ahead of where Theo looked at that age. Some fantastic football and some horrendous defense from Arshavin helped for the winning goal. But a win away vs LeArse is a very good result.

Thought A.V. could have done better, but I thank him he didnt. And I also expect to never see Arshavin in an Arsenal shirt again.

And boy Wazza has turned into quite the theatrical little diva bitch hasnt he? Fuuuck, get up man. Get on with it. Its like CR7 here all over again.

Don't see how Balotelli could have been unaware of Parker, who was on top of his feet, Rudi. I won't absolutely say it was intentional... but it honestly looks more like an intentional kick than a player trying to stay on his feet.

Disappointed that Arsenal lost today but not really gutted. Those kind of losses usually feel a lot worse. Dunno why this one doesn't. Arshavin is so shite that its not even funny. Wenger defended the substitution, talking about how to Oxlade-Chamberlain is young and was slowing down while Arshavin is the Russian NT captain... but you can't ignore form. Arshavin has been a positive influence on matches very few times this season. Given how poor he's been on a regular basis, I just don't understand why he plays so frequently.

Not sure if it was intentional. Looks like he received a slight push to the back right as he was trying to untangle his feet, which was just enough to throw his balance off.

At least that is the version I will choose to believe.

Nice try, but he's kicking back before Modric touched him. And I don't know that Modric ever pushed.

The more I see it, the more it looks like an intentional kick backward at whoever was there. Which is a classless move. If we were talking about a sporting player with no history of lashing out, I might be more willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but Balotelli has a pretty sordid history already.

For once, Harry Redknapp is right - Balotelli should not have been on the pitch when he scored and the FA needs to do something.

There is nothing natural at the way he stepped back there.

He's been charged over it and faces up to a 4 match ban. Apparently the FA didn't buy the "he was pushed into it or falling or something" defense.

Don't matter, we got so many strikers we won't miss a beat.

Aguero and Dzeko? Am I missing any more?

Uh... Isn't you manager the one crying continually about needing squad reinforcements to continue to compete through the second half of the season? And um, who are all the only natural forwards in the squad currently besides Balotelli, Dzeko, and Aguero?

When you are bragging about all the strikers you have, pointing to a winger doesn't exactly back that up.

Never too late to smooth things over ...

Ha! Pretty sure it is too late. I've suggested that more than once and got shot down by City fans on various avenues, so it is apparently not a popular idea. I may have even brought it up here awhile back...

FWIW, I never got why things eroded so quickly between Tevez and the club either. I was a huge fan of Carlito's work last season and wish he was still around.
