Cahill can go. He was shite last season. Baines is the best English back so he should go for near that much, but I would love for him to stay. Felli is gone next season I bet.

Cole gets the nod because he is better. Probably best LB in the world right now. Even at 33 he might still be around for the WC.
Blaine's is talented, but he always seems to struggle for England.Comment

I will admit I don't know much of Cole or how Baines plays for England. Just going by some things I've read around the internet.

Ashley Cole is the best left back in England. And after this season a World XI player. He has been outstanding. Baines is good. But again, im just not sure he is 20 mil good. And even if United are interested, it will be fuck all of they pay 20 for him. 20 mil for a player who wont start? Not in United's current transfer model.
I am also interested and wonder what Baines would be like playing CL ball. He has struggled against top talent when playing for England, makes me wonder what he or how he would perform against top talent in the knockout rounds.
I still think he is a very good player though. And actually wouldnt mind him at all. Just with too many question marks to be a 20 mil signing. Especially since its not even a certainty that he would move Patrice out of the line-up right away.Comment

From the BBC.....
David Moyes: Everton boss refuses to rule out Spurs move
Everton manager David Moyes has refused to rule himself out of the running for the vacant manager's job at Tottenham.
The 49-year-old is among the favourites to replace Harry Redknapp at White Hart Lane, but no contact has yet been made.
Moyes told BBC Radio 5 live that he hoped to fulfil all his ambitions at Goodison Park but stopped short of committing himself to the club.
"I hope to meet all my ambitions at Everton but you never know in this game," he said. "I've had no contact."
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is out of the country but will step up the search for a new manager when he returns on Monday.
Former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is understood to be a leading contender for the post, but no formal contact has yet been made.
Representatives of Wigan manager Roberto Martinez have expressed an interest in the post, but Moyes insists reports linking him with the job came as a total surprise when he returned from a family holiday in the United States on Thursday.
"All I can say is that I have had no contact and if I had had any I would have told my chairman," he said.
"I came back from holiday and found out about Harry and I feel sad for him because I feel he has done a good job."
Levy is no rush to replace Redknapp, with the club privately expressing a determination to conduct a "properly run process" to find their next manager.Comment

Not much in the news dept today
- Everton look to be front runners to sign Rangers striker Steven Naismith
- Steven Pienaar was charged with assault in a night club (whoever was assaulted by Pienaar should be embarrassed)
- Try and stay away from sharp objects today because James Wallace is leaving to Tranmere
- Everton will compete in the Indonesian Java Cup to warm up for the Premier League season. Woohoo!
It seems the Moyes-Tottenham rumors have subsided and to me, that is more news than any of the above.
Also, Nike has released some more swag at the official team shop. No home kit yet but these rugby shirts look pretty sweet.
