by Jesse Holland on Oct 4, 2011 12:04 PM EDT in Bellator FC News & Results

Bellator Fighting Championships today (Oct. 4, 2011) announced that reigning middleweight champion Hector Lombard will face former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Trevor Prangley in a non-title catchweight fight at 195-pounds on Nov. 19 from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Bellator 58 will air live on MTV2 and in commercial-free HD on EPIX at 9 p.m. ET on fight night with the preliminary card streaming live on Spike.com, starting at 7 p.m. ET.

    "Lightning" strikes:

"I just want November to get here and knock someone out. I doesn't matter who it is, I just want to do what I do and that's win. I don't know much about Trevor, but it doesn't matter. I'll be in front of my fans in Florida, and it's going to be a show."
Lombard is 30-2-1 and hasn't lost in 24 fights. He was last seen heel-hooking Jesse Taylor at Australian Fighting Championship (AFC) 2 back on Sept. 3 in Melbourne.

Jesus christ, there's nothing outside Zuffa at 185, unless they want to deal with the M1 nuts.

Pretty much. Outside of Marquardt and Khalidov, it is definitely slim pickings. I hope Bellator tries to bring Khalidov over again. Otherwise, Lombard is going to be can/journeyman crushing for long time.

Eddie Alvarez vs. Michael Chandler is now confirmed for this show.

Two pretty good fights featuring the two most highly regarded fighters on the roster, so it will probably do like 75,000 viewers.
