    A debate in Spain

Got this from some caf-tards, but thought it was interesting.

Heavy topic at the moment is whether Spain could win the Euro without the Barcelona players.

Barca's players are...Xavi, Iniesta, Thiago, Fabregas, David Villa, Pique,Puyol, Pedro and Busquets

With lads like David Silva, Carzorla, Cassilas, Negredo, Arbeola, Mata, Xabi Alonso, Sergio Ramos, Saldado, Canales (if he gets the call in time) is such an opinon fathomable?

Are such a group of talented players capable of toppling the second best team in Europe: Germany?

Negrado and Llorente (or Torres) up front, with Silva and Mata on the wings. They're still a really good team, but I can't see that squad getting through Germany.

They would definitely have a shot. Cazorla has been otherwordly at Malaga, and it's not like the rest of the team is a drop off

      Torres (Vicente likes him)
      Mata, Silva, Cazorla
      Xabi, Javi Martinez
Alba, Albiol, CB to be named, Ramos
      Casillas

Yes. I think that team can beat Germany. Which is scary

The WC semi final, while only 1-0, was extremely one sided. Germany barely got the ball out of their half and didn't create many real chances of note.

With this lineup, Spain loses the natural cohesiveness that Barca brings and probably makes it a more even game. Still, Germany's backline isn't exactly imperious. I'm a German fan, but if I'm betting on that game, I'm probably still backing Spain

That was an awful match to watch. I was pulling for Germany big time but they were man handled by Spain.
