Reports are that Sting refused to work a match of any length with Hardy because he was fucked up. So TNA did the logical thing and made a short squash that pissed off all the fans, instead of something crazy like adjusting the card or firing Hardy.

They could have just "injured" Hardy and had someone in the back that deserved a shot get one as a substitute against Sting.

Either Sting wins due to the other guy not being ready OR... have Sting lose because he was ready to fight Hardy and not some other guy that night.

If Hardy goes to Jail, it's an easy write-off plus it gives you the kayfabe excuse that even if Hardy were able to return to the ring, he wouldn't represent your company as a drug-using bum.

TNA is basically the ultimate "How I would book a wrestling company" project for fans.

It also wouldn't surprise me if Russo/Bisch did a worked shoot thing where OMG PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT US CAUSE THEY THOUGHT HARDY WAS HIGH

I wouldn't put it past them...

Anything is possible with TNA. I kinda doubt it, since Sting seemed legit pissed (and I don't think he's that good of an actor) and they would have had to realize that this would generate really negative heat. There is apparently endless hate being spewed on Dixie Carter's Twitter account toward her over this. But yeah, it is possible.

If Hardy isn't seriously punished for this, I would lose any remaining respect I have for TNA... which might push it below zero...

Just fire Hardy, he's not worth the trouble he's bringing.

Aside from The Miz being the WWE Champ, Cleveland needs another winner.

Even if the winner is going to be part of a fake Hall of Fame that doesn't even have a building to hold awards given out.

                          Nobody gets fired from TNA.

Either you quit or get forgotten by the writers and just collect a monthly stipend.

I didn't see it live so I can't say for sure but don't put it past Bisch and Russo, they've done this type of stuff time and time again...

Russo is one of those retards that absolutely subscribes to the "ANY PRESS IS GOOD PRESS!111!!"

Would you also put it past them to do a Charlie Sheen type deal with Jeff Hardy? (Provided he doesn't go to jail)

Decent match between Sheamus and Danielson, not that AmDrag can have a bad match with anyone...

Sheamus needed the win and looks to be done jobbing while Danielson can focus on either getting the belt back or something else since he wasn't defending the belt much anyway.

I guess Lawler got Uncle Vince to pay for his son's rehab bills...

Add "Grand Masta Sexay" to the pile of Wrestlecrap that never needed to come back.
