Reports came out from SuperLuchas on Monday that Randy Orton's WWE future was up in the air after meeting with Vince McMahon, Triple H and Kevin Dunn at WWE headquarters on Friday. The report stated that the meeting's atmosphere was "hostile" and it was determined a further decision concerning Orton awaits. SuperLuchas says that several WWE officials were lobbying for Orton's termination as a cost-cutting measure.

PWInsider now reports that WWE officials indeed met with Orton over the weekend and there is definitely talk about not bringing him back as soon as his suspension is over. Their report doesn't mention Orton being terminated but the idea would be to make Orton "sit it out and stew" once the suspension is over.

We noted earlier that one change coming out of the Orton suspension is WWE may start announcing which banned substances talents test positive for. One temporary change we will see is a lot of the RAW Superstars working SmackDown tours this summer while Orton is away. Rey Mysterio will be returning in a few weeks to add some depth to SmackDown but expect to see guys like Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and Zack Ryder work a lot of the upcoming SmackDown live events. John Cena and CM Punk have already been booked for upcoming SmackDown tapings.

Lance Storm has now had two really good matches with Bennett, which is no small feat because Bennett, while charismatic, is as dry as sand in the ring. They need to do a rubber match and have Bennett go over. Either that, or have Bennett go nuts about the loss and "get serious" from this point on and start killing guys with some intensity.

I thought Lethal/Ciampa was fantastic with some creative stuff. Jay Lethal is really, really good and Ciampa is underrated.

Where does Davey go from here? Edwards has no direction, either. I smell a Wolves reunion, especially with heel tag champs that everybody universally hates at this point.

Oh, and the two best color guys in the game right now are McGuinness & William Regal. Fuckin smooth brits. Nigel gets excited at just the right times.
Steen-Richards lacked that immenseness...if the crowd was a little better, the PPV would have been fantastic, but I felt the crowd up there, for being "standing room only" came off a little flat. You needed Steen-Richards to have a bonkers crowd.

Sometimes the outdoor arenas have a hard time generating the same kind of crowd noise. Especially at Ted Reeve arena which surely cant hold more then 2000 fans.

I agree with that, Steen/Richards was quite underwhelming considering how hot Steen was leading up and the fact it was in Canada.

If you put the Showdown in the Sun crowd there for that match, it comes off better. It still wasn't as good as Elgin-Richards by a long shot. And, honestly, that's weird, because it should have been a very similar match with a lot of high, big impact spots, lots of near falls, and the end should have looked like Davey was going to pull it off with the head kick but Steen pulls off some Japanese Fighting Spirit but actually wins...meanwhile, you have Cornette going bonkers...maybe a little outside shenanigans with Cornette looking to screw Steen but you have Corino turn on the outside at some point.

The little things, man...the little things, but it could have made it epic...it just fell a little short, but I still thought it was a good match with the right guy going over and the right move doing it.

Let's see how Steen does now as champ. ROH fans are super dorks in the sense that they move on to "the next big thing" quite quickly sometimes, and there are quite a few ROH champs who the fans seemingly wanted that fell flat (see Tyler Black, although waiting too long had something to do with that).

Thank you for nothing Warner. Nothing at all is what I'm thanking you for and I won't be doing anything with them when I get home. No thank you.

The champs seems to always become heels that people hate. ROH fans love the chase but seem to hate you once you get to that top level. Steen may be a different story though, we'll see. As you mentioned Black was a bad example because they waited so long for him.

Kane better embrace... his local rubber section at the Circle K.

Otherwise, he's gonna have another Lita situation on his hands...

Of course, he's the only fictional wrestling character I know that's gotten away with a forced abortion via blunt force trauma so he might be okay.

...AJ might even like being tossed around a little bit.
