They could really use a third brand, which they had at the end of that run.

This will lead to a passionate Larry post, but ECW really did propel a bunch of guys and give them the forum to develop themselves on TV both character wise and in the ring. Miz, Morrison, Punk, Kofi, Ryder (two stints), Sheamus, etc etc etc.

And it wasn't just a bridge for FCW guys, because people like Mark Henry found themselves and were given a chance to shine in a larger role.

The WWE has a million B-shows. Superstars or Main Event can be the next step from NXT, which is really just the old FCW shows with WWE bells & whistles.

Completely agree. NXT right now is nice...could still use one more spot for guys to work on fleshing out characters in front of a WWE audience. The Full Sail crowd is an Indie crowd essentially.

Eh, they've now got two guys to feud for the title. I wouldn't have made this a squash however, but I can't argue with RVD taking the win at this point.

Why would they put Joseph Park in a match against the top guy in Aces & 8s? The guy is supposed to be a rookie, why wouldn't they put him up against a flunkie?

Just another thing that doesn't make sense with their Aces and 8's storyline. I'm starting to get tired of trying to figure it out, there's no rhyme or reason to it.

Parks asked for it from Hogan on IMPACT, if I recall.

Even though he lost, Park got good offense in and it actually probably gave him a ton of momentum. I hope they reveal that Park is actually Abyss and he has multiple personalities

With the whole confusion thing right before chokeslamming Devon, you are probably right. Though I'm not familiar with Abyss at all, he was off television as that character before I started watching.
