I can't remember if it's better than Punk/Jericho, but either way, it's funny how Punk has become the #1 worker in WWE over the past year and a half.

Last match like that on Raw that stood out to me was the Shelton Benjamin/Shawn Michaels classic. That one wasn't even the main event either (believe it was co-main event). Great great match. Even with that hurricarana that I can't believe the E wanted to show in the replays over and over again.

I know it's not gonna happen, but I'd kinda like The Undertaker streak to just end at 20-0. He has nothing left to prove.

Bring him back for the occasional RAW and give him his HOF moment. He has nothing left to prove at Wrestlemania and Wrestlemania doesn't need him for buy rate.

I dissagree i think he holds a small additude era base that come back every year just for him, going to be very intresting to see what Punk can get out of him

I like Punk a lot, but what's the point of a match where you know Punk is gonna lose 100%?

I've been saying this about Undertaker matches for years now, to me it kills the drama, but you have to understand that there are a ton of fans who don't find these finishes as obvious as we do.

To me, a great finish would be The Undertaker letting Punk win. That would create an enormous storyline ... and wouldn't hurt The Undertaker. His legend is secure. Imagine Punk breaking that streak. Amazing. Undertaker would lose nothing.

UT has plenty of appeal to older fans, but the WM name is the sell. They seem to do either the same great #'s, or better, every year regardless of who is/isn't on the card.

As great as that Punk/Cena match was, every "big" WWE match seems to be the same with trading finishers and near-falls. It takes away from them IMO, when all the very good to great matches all look the same. A minor complaint, but it irks me more every time.

Darren Drozdov could do a better hurricanrana today.

Dolph losing to Ryback is the perfect microcosm of what is wrong with WWE. Beating a heel almost always means nothing, because they're all chickenshits with no real skill.

The undefeated gimmick hasn't hurt the past 4 years with HBK and HHH, though.

And what would Punk gain? He would still be the #2 guy in the company behind Cena. #3 when The Rock is around. If the past 18 months hasn't changed that for Punk, neither will going over Taker at WM. It would be a useless way to end the streak because its not legitimately helping someone.

I think the only person they should even consider beating Undertaker right now would be Brock Lesnar. He's already a big enough star where it doesn't seem flukey and the win over Undertaker makes him your #1 heel and helps him shed the failed UFC fighter label that some people have for him right now.

Vince McMahon reportedly "blew a gasket" backstage at RAW last night during the CM Punk vs. John Cena main event. Word is that Vince got upset when Punk hit Cena with a piledriver, which is a banned move when done the way Punk did it. Vince was upset with Cena and Punk but because it was them, there will likely be no serious punishment.
i didnt know a piledriver was a "banned move" but now that i think about it i cant even recall the last time ive seen one done

Pretty sure it got banned after Austin broke his neck

Yeah, only Undertaker & Kane are allowed to do it, and it has to be the Tombstone version. Otherwise you need special permission to use it.

With Punk coming off an already over year long title rein, him beating Taker doesn't do much anymore. That would have been a nice way to start his year rein as champion, but now, it would just make him say "i did the thing no one else could..including Cena and Rock...yet I'm not good enough to be champion?"
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

                                "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.
