That's five confirmed signings in two days. If I were in developmental and not being used, i'd be sweating a little bit.
Derrick Bateman, Sakamoto, Briley Pierce, Ashley Miller cut today.

Pierce is Ziggler's littler brother. Bateman surprises me to some degree, as does Pierce. Sakamoto i'm shocked lasted this long. I know nothing about the broad.

Ashley Miller works as 'Audrey Marie'.

They could be making this person up for all I know. Anyway....

Punk hated them, and it would have been a step down for Danielson. But Generico was the talk of the Indies. As was Steen. Do they even make plays for these guys at all?
They don't pay guys enough, and guys just don't want to go there anyway.

TNA should have a loaded bottom half of their roster, but they don't pay the Indie guys enough money to jump ship and there isn't exactly a ton of opportunity there.

She was their hot diva before she was injured. She's a bit of a thicker chick. She since has gotten passed up.

Wouldn't shock me if TNA gave her a look.

                  /ashamed I know that.

When you look at WWE's track record, they sign more people off the high indie level than they do from TNA.

Perhaps that's by design. An unsaid message of "go there if you want, but you aren't coming here". I mean, who aside from Monty Brown & Consequences Creed have they ever signed from TNA (not counting big stars like Christian or Booker T who came back)?

But i've also heard plenty of stories of guys who just have no interest in TNA for the idea that they can make more on their own if they are a big indie name, and the fact that TNA is sort of a dead end in many ways.

I do agree though, TNA is definitely the land of the misfit toys.

Just a ton of guys that the WWE really has minimal or no interest in.

Sure, they'd sign Sting for a quick legends run. They'd sign Hogan back anytime he wanted to come back. They MIGHT take the Dudleyz back for a little run.

But I mean, lets keep it real, a ton of their talent are just guys that the WWE doesn't have much of an interest in, or ever really had.

Chris Harris, Low Ki, and the attempt at Alex Shelley. What the hell happened to Shelley? I know there was the lawsuit that shut him down from signing with the E, but isn't that settled? Is he still wrestling in Japan?

Full time New Japan. Not sure if he's tied down or just tour to tour.
