It's a smart decision because it basically adds an extra character to the X division without really adding an extra person the the roster. With the new rules that all X Division matches are triple threat matches, you need to add more talent to the pool

I think Suicide should win the X-Title, and unmask as a cackling Daniels.

If Perkins got the gig full time, and he's finally going to be a regular, good for him. Can't express enough how nice of a guy he is, and he made it pretty clear that while he's doing ok for himself, he'd like to settle in with TNA if possible. Maybe he was being coy with us when I asked that and already knew. I don't know.

You mean he isn't tough? I am just sick of roidback...pretty soon he will be on a Harley and ride it down to the ring....only he is so stiff he would probably crash.

I suppose, but they hardly ever get anybody over anymore. To waste a spot in a match with an old, beyond stale character who was never over to begin with, who was created for a video game that was a total flop, seems like a waste. Financially, maybe not. But I think it's a missed opportunity. There are dozens of high flyers in the Indies who could come in for pennies on the dollar and maybe impress some people and gain a following. Instead it's wasted on a dead-end gimmick.

I could tell Suicide was TJ Perkins within 2 minutes of the match starting.

What would be perfect......cashing in the X-Division title for a shot at the World Title. Set it up as a no DQ match. Have Suicide/Daniels go under the ring, pull out an appletini, drink it, then smash it over the head of the champ for the pin and the world title win. Then unmask Daniels. That would be fantastic.

You guys are putting way too much thought and creativity into this booking Impact stuff. How about instead of that stuff, we watch the Aces and 8's introcude another member...the most reasonably priced WWE reject. What's he doing here?!

The thing I find rather interesting about TNA at this point is how rather ambivalent fans seem to have become toward the current product. Not to say my sample size is huge or truly indicative... I visit a few different forums regularly, some wrestling-focused and some more general. Almost all of these have groups of TNA fans (some TNA-specific and some general wresting fans who happened to also love TNA) but those almost all seem to have dissipated. The fans still exist, obviously, but the dedication really doesn't seem to be there. A couple of sites used to have live discussions for every episode of Impact and PPV event that could end up with a couple hundred posts per show... now they don't even bother creating them as they will get 5 or 10 posts. It really just seems to have hit "there is some good in there" point for a lot of fans rather than still being "its awesome!!!" you used to see some fans proclaiming.

I don't know if I have ever seen someone claiming they truly enjoy the entirety of the Aces n 8s stuff. Some found it interesting early, some have enjoyed the reveals a bit, or other aspects. But the whole? can't say I've seen someone claim that...

I think it has to do with drawing things out. Aces and 8's should have had Bubba revealed as the leader at last years Bound for Glory. Everyone should have been unmasked by that point. People lost interest because it took so long, and after Devon, all you had were former WWE guys being patched in. They are doing the same thing with the whole storyline with AJ Styles. That should have been done in one Impact, maybe two, but it's been ongoing for months. You lose people by doing that.

This Aces n 8's storyline is trying to rip too much shit off from the Attitude Era / Monday Night Wars storylines.

Its got the nWo angle (group trying to take down the company), its got the Sting angle (Styles), its got the Corporation storyline with Stephanie McMahon (Brooke Hogan), its got WCW level main events (really bad), its got the GM/boss that's involved in the big storyline (Hogan), they got a hardcore gimmick guy playing more than one character (Abyss/Joseph Parks)...for fucks sake...make the awful rip offs stop already. Do something slightly original.

Bully is great in his role, and they made an awesome recap video of the Bully turn.

Aside from that, everything about this storyline is largely forgettable or groan inducing.

I will say this. I've been to two live TNA shows of recent vintage, and at both shows people pop for Aces & Eights when the theme hits. TNA has loyal, loyal fans. Just not enough of them. Visit TNAsylum website sometime if you have time to kill, and try to remember it's not a parody and the posters are 100% serious.

Bubba has been great in his role. He's been very good. Those recap videos were very very strong.

I agree with the rest...everything else is just...meh or bad.

They had a ton of momentum last summer and it seems in less than one year's time, the TNA product has flatlined again.

I wouldn't mind the A+8's storyline so much if there was some other shit going on around it that was good.

The X-Division is the worst its ever been. Its just not entertaining and I don't care about anyone. They should be showcasing the talent of tomorrow with that division but since Aries let the title go, its been pointless.

The chicks...I'm never interested anyway, but when they had Kong, I was...now its Velvet Sky and WWE rejects in forgettable storylines.

There is no program for the TV Title.

Gut Check has lost any and all luster for me...great concept, constantly fucking it up.

Undercard is completely forgettable and boring.

The only thing worthy of tuning in for...Dirty Heels and Bad Influence. That's about it.
