I feel bad that we won't see many more Ryback squashes and that the streak is going to be over, but WWE can only blame themselves for this by pushing Cena for all these things. They've essentially buried Miz, and with this respect line with Paul Heyman, Miz would have been the best option and we could have seen a great war on the mic. That's just one superstar, there were plenty more they could have picked from.

Miz would've been a good opponent for Punk. Could have Punk spouting about respect and how its bums like the Miz that held him down...ends with Punk beating Miz, but, perhaps an inspired effort by the Miz in the ring.

That is where the WWE misses the boat...they force constant rematches down your throat, but don't have these champs go through a lot of the upper card...for Punk, its Cena Cena Cena...

Yep, but again, WWE has only themselves to blame. They push Cena for all this and don't develop a lot of the upper card for these kinds of feuds. Hell, I actually think you might have people more in Cena's corner if you had more of the upper card involved in the championship picture.

Creative is in the expected quandary over the Punk vs. Ryback finish.

Besides the obvious, that it’s a Hell in a Cell so they can’t do a DQ finish, don’t want to beat Ryback, don’t want to change the title before Royal Rumble, they also don’t want to end the show with a screwjob. They also don’t want to end the show with Sheamus vs. Show. Anyway, one or more things that they don’t want to do they are going to be forced to do.

One idea fans are bouncing around is Lesnar interference which would lead to Ryback losing, and then going to Lesnar vs. Ryback at Mania. There are a lot of aspects to that. First, that would mean HHH wouldn’t get his revenge. Second, Lesnar is still actually drawing significant and would that be the case if he loses to Ryback? Also, there is the expense of Lesnar on another PPV above what he is contracted for. It’s not like these are things that can’t be overcome, but not only does it screw up HHH’s program, but there is a very significant economic expense to consider.

They would never do this but the best option would be for The Rock interfering on CM Punks behalf (The storyline being that Rock wants to face Punk at RR for the title, Not Ryback), then have a traditional survivor series of Ryback's Team vs Punk's Team. Heck you could have Rock as special guest referee or not this isnt that big of a deal. BUT All of this would happen with the assumption that Rock faces Punk at RR for the title. Except on the last RAW before RR it takes a swerve and someone either AJ or Vince or Trips doesnt matter but they make it a triple threat match at RR w/ Ryback v Rock v Punk.

From there you could have many different outcomes.

                Loco could be onto something.

If Lesnar were to run in on behalf of Punk, then The Rock runs in on behalf of Ryback, and a total riot breaks out, that is a creative way to not do a finish, and the fans would accept it because of the surprise of getting Lesnar & Rock on the show.

Then you could do a Punk/Lesnar team vs a Ryback/Rock team at Survivor Series.

None of that will happen, because you have to burn not one but two more Lesnar PPV appearances off his deal, but I like it.

Best result is the Lesnar screw job...then you have Team Punk (Punk, Lesnar, two others) v. Team Cena (Cena, Ryback, two others) and there is your Survivor Series match up.

The sad part is all of these ideas are better than anything they will come up with.

The fact that Ryback is going to main event a PPV shows that the WWE is fucked if Cena has a career ending injury. The most fucked up thing is the that they have no one but themselves to blame.

Another thought I have, is that they are pushing Ryback and "feed me more" and had Cena as his mouthpiece. What is to say that they don't necessarily want a title change (or just don't want Ryback to have it because you have to take it away.) Have Ryback take out Punk to win the title, and then have Punk try and get away and Ryback chases him out of the arena, leaving the title. Essentially, Ryback is here to crush people and doesn't care about the title, then have it vacant and do some sort of tournament to decide it.

The Lesnar thing seems most likely, but LOL at signing someone where they have a certain numbers of PPVs and then have to pay extra. Lesnar better still be the draw they are claiming he is.

Or just have the cell break and Punk try to run away and Ryback chase him down, so Punk retains his title and Ryback doesn't lose.
