Its sad but TNA's product is still light years better than before...but numbers are down across the board.

...aside from that Hardy run-in at the finish.

I get they don't want to give away the farm on free TV (or do they? Dunno the PPV plan for TNA these days because I'll never watch the shit) but at least let Aries or Roode win by DQ.

They thumped Hebner so that should have been an auto Double-DQ right there...

Probably giving TNA too much credit to think of stuff like this.

Someone needs to stop the silly Jeff Hardy introspection pre-tapes.

lol RAW did a 2.2 I know it was Christmas Eve but that really says something about the state of this company hell I heard Tribute to the Troops did a really bad number.

              The # means nothing.

In two weeks, Rock is back and the number will be fine.

Tribute to the Troops was shown on a Wednesday.

The Christmas Episode of RAW is always one of the lowest rated of the year, being that it was actually ON Christmas Eve...of course it does awful.

15 years ago was WCW's most successful PPV (buyrate wise)...STARRCADE 97.

Fucked up the execution of the finish, but the whole build up dating back to September 1996 was brilliant. All downhill afterwards though....well, with the exception of when Goldberg was hot...till they fucked that up, too.

Fantasy booking here but I would love to see a huge Vince McMahon vs CM Punk angle similar to the old Austin/Vince stories. Vince is angry that CM Punk is "tarnishing" the legacy of the title with his reign and starts going to no end to put a top to it. It'd never happen but you can work the part timers into it by having McMahon call in legends to try to end Punk's reign. Almost set up a guantlet of former champs to work little 1 month stories. It'd only work if they could get guys like Edge and Austin cleared and Batista to agree to come back. You could then end it with a huge Brock Lesnar turning on Heyman to be Vince's hired gun.

They need to seriously trim some of the comedy out of the midcard as well. Guys like Zack Ryder, Brodus Clay, Santino, and R Truth are clowns now and it benefits nobody but the merch vendors. You give them a push and it's useless because you can't take them seriously and then it BURIES whoever they happen to beat. I love the Bro gimmick Ryder has but if you were to take a brand new fan and have him watch what TNA has done with Robbie E in the last 4 months and what WWE has done with Zack Ryder, Zack Ryder looks like the comical ripoff because they use him like shit.

Also, I'd drop the Funkasaurus gimmick and turn Brodus Clay into a monster heel like One Man Gang. Take advantage of his obvious size advantage and "street" cred as a former bodyguard for Snoop and make him an ultra agressive badass. Build the gimmick by having him drop a bunch of matches due to blatantly ignoring the commands of the 150 lb ref.

Santino has fallen so far that he's pretty much unsavable. I have never seen someone so deserving of a rebranding but they can't do it because he sells Cobra socks to 8 year olds. If I were to do something I'd play up his "European" roots and align him with Cesaro. Have Cesaro knock some sense into him about he is pandering to the imbiciles in America and toughen him up.

I'd flat out fire R-Truth. Fuck Little Jimmy

You could also add that heels don't win clean enough.

                            This is pretty cool.

I think Veda Scott could be great in the WWE if they paired her up with Otunga as his secretary and actually have give the guy a bit of a push in the mid-card.

Vince wants RAW to be a variety show. There is going to be tons of different shit going on on RAW and as a result, guys are going to get some goofy gimmicks and kid friendly stuff.

Its kind of funny that Zack Ryder actually won a feud against his boy Dolph Ziggler...and then did absolutely nothing despite getting huge pops and merch pushing.

Their non-push of Ryder is one of the more baffling things they've done in years. No reason not to push him to the mid-card and keep him consistently on TV.
