Anyone know how much it would cost WWE to use a song from a band like Killswitch Engage as a theme for a wrestler? Just wondering.

Most of the WWE's music is made in-house or contracted out but is ultimately owned by the WWE.
I think the WWE paid for the rights of Cult of Personality just a negotiated flat fee...how much, I dunno. The WWE uses a lot of "up and coming artists" for their music for PPVs and whatnot, and probably pay very little for that music, if any at all. Bigger songs...for example...Cult of Personality, whenever The Undertaker uses Metallica, the latest Puffy song they use the shit out, a Flo Rida song...much more expensive, but a flat fee, surely.Comment

This is pretty cool...
I'm reading a biography on Jackie Robinson and I'm up to his days at UCLA. The big receiver on the football team in the late 30s was Woody Stroud (after his football college and pro days [he helped break the NFL's color barrier], he went on to become a successful actor).
At various times in the 40s and 50s, he was a professional wrestler, too. Short clip of a match with GORGEOUS GEORGE is on YouTube.

Zack Ryder @ZackRyder 2m
I'm gonna be on #Raw tonight! #AprilFools
Ryder has been in IDGAF mode on twitter for like two months. He probably could use a good indie run. Not sure he'd do well on the "workrate" circuit like Trent Baretta & John Morrison, but he'd make a killing early on on the NWS/PWS/"former WWE star at the VFW Hall" circuit for sure.Comment

Clearly a dude that doesn't want to be there anymore...but, unfortunately for him, the WWE still makes a ton on his merch, so they will milk it until he's no good, and then cut him.Comment
