I think if the ref is going to use Instant Replay, they should go all out with the towel over their head, NFL style. Because even without it, the second refs word would have gotten the match restarted either way. The screen just kinda bought them time to rest a bit, which would have been good if they wrestled another 10 minutes or something.

I just think its a terrible concept to implement.

It takes the heel shenanigans out of the heel.

That match ended perfectly with the towel. It filled in nicely, with a nice, old school result to a match that was supposed to be a title match. It gives you more heat between Del Rio and Swagger, which could lead into another three-way match involving Ziggler post-concussion. You got to the same result (Ziggler beating two guys), you just went another way of getting there.

Yeah. Wouldn't be shocked to see it be a returning guy like RVD or Christian though. I just feel like with Punk and Lesnar he's already got two guys in an already crowded main event picture

I would be shocked if it was RVD returning, though that seems to be making the IWC rounds today. Christian or Barrett would make more sense.

It's crowded in the sense that they refuse to elevate anyone. It'd make no sense to give him another client in the pool of 5 that they use in the main event
