Yeah, thats why he is fitting because he's an idiot financially and usually looks at short-term paydays.

I'm actually surprised that Kennedy has not yet signed with TNA.
The Hogan thing is an interesting move. Done correctly, it could be a good move. The problem is that its TNA, so its probably not going to be done correctly, which means it will either be of little benefit or actually harmful.
The rumored move of Impact to Monday night is a mistake in my opinion. A new version of the Monday Night Wars is an intriguing thought, but TNA cannot compete against the WWE right now. It would get destroyed.Comment

Especially right now where you're in direct competition with Raw AND Monday Night Football.Comment

The TNA ratings would definately go up, but with the same incompetent fools running the ship, I agree that they would get smashed.
But again, where have we heard that before?Comment

Impact barely consistently beats WWE Superstars in ratings, the fourth show that barely seems to get any attention from the E.
There seem to be all kind rumors floating about possible possible news, seemingly even including Bret Hart. Even if Hart joins Hogan and Flair in TNA and all three men wrestle, is that going to entice many people to tune in - a bunch of 50 year olds? I just honestly cannot conceive or anything TNA could do which would a monster impact at this point. Hogan headlining for them would draw some interest, but how long do they mildly intrigued viewers stay tuned in for? Even Shane McMahons strolling out on Impact the first show of 2010 has how much impact in the long-term? I wish I could envision a way for TNA to really make the Monday Night Wars happen again and I just cannot.Comment

FWIW, the last few times Hogan came back to the E, he popped one nice PPV number, then people lost interest, which is why Vince would part ways instead of continuing to pay him a bajillion dollars.
I have to think the same will happen here. His first Impact will probably break records, and the same for his first PPV. It will then taper off.
The same thing happened with Sting, and then Angle a few years later. Record breaking numbers, and then right back down to slightly higher than the previous levels. TNA bad booking catches up with everyone.Comment

Im probably this sites biggest TNA fan, probably the only one, if they wanna go head to head with WWE, i say go for it. Ill support em, so will the other 2 million TNA fans. If they get beat, so what. They have nothing to lose. They wont be expected to win anyway. Im excited to see what happens and will pass judgement after. I dont think Carter will let Hogan become bigger than TNA. She sent Jarrett, the orginal founder of the company home. Shes not gonna let Hogan destroy anything.
I dunno what will happen but i havent felt this way about wrestling since 2003.Comment

Competition makes everyone better. Vince didnt care when Booker T left, and he practically gift wrapped Kurt Angle. Those two, along with all the other WWE left overs, didnt even get his attention.
Hogan, on the other hand, will get Vince's attention. And that's a good thing.
And if they move to Monday's, it's on. That''s considered war. Even when ROH moved to Mondays, on a network that nobody gets, Vince flipped a shit and staretd raiding talent, despite the fact 99% of his viewers have no clue that ROH exists.Comment

The most lulz thing I've heard about this whole situation is that Hogan wanted Nash to be the booker.
That can't happen...can it?Comment

Here you go guys, Dave Meltzer breaks down the names that have been floating around as guys TNA is persuing to go along with Hogan:
As far as some of the other major names floating around, here is the best scorecard of what we can ascertain:
*Steve Austin - rumors were flying he was part of the deal, which I’m totally skeptical of because he’s never been on good terms with either Hogan or Eric Bischoff. According to those who have discussed it with him, Austin’s goal is to be like Dwayne Johnson, and that is to stay as far away from wrestling as possible because he feels that it’s better for his aspiring movie career to do so.
*Ric Flair - Flair has signed a three-year contract with Bischoff and Hogan and as part of the deal, every move Hogan makes, Flair is part of the move. TNA has been trying, unsuccessfully, to get Flair every time he and Vince McMahon were on the outs. TNA has talked of doing a Flair vs. Sting program and Flair has never even taken a meeting about going there. This would be a big move by Flair because it would be a move Vince McMahon wouldn’t like or approve. Flair would neither confirm nor deny that he was part of this deal.
*Bill Goldberg - Goldberg was pitched on or around 10/16 a deal by TNA, and not affiliated with Bischoff or Hogan. Goldberg said that as long as Russo is around, he is not interested.
*Diamond Dallas Page - Page, 53, just this past week stated he would be coming back to wrestling. However, on WrestlingObserver.com, Page did an interview where he said he was not doing the Australia tour for Hogan and Bischoff, nor going to TNA at this point. He said his plan was to do indies with a date coming up soon against Honky Tonk Man. He said he wants to have fun wrestling without the pressure of being on television. He said his goal was to not get hurt, and have at least one match at the age of 60.
*Jimmy Hart - Hart was at the Madison Square Garden press conference with Hogan, and is spending the week with Hogan as Hogan goes on his book tour. Hart, who is working for Hogan’s Australia promotion, said that he was not part of the TNA deal.
*Ken Anderson (Mr. Kennedy) is said to be not involved in the Hogan/Bischoff deal nor does he have any deal with TNA. He’s been trying to set up meetings to further an acting career at this point.
*Rob Van Dam - Van Dam is definitely part of the agenda Bischoff and Hogan are pushing. TNA has also contacted Van Dam separately. Dixie Carter has been handling it at that end, and Van Dam was at Bound for Glory. At press time, he is neither sold on, nor has turned down, either side. He is looking for an easy schedule and good money, but is open to wrestling if it’s on those terms. WWE is less likely because of the $2,500 pot fines and the harder schedule.Comment
