MrLARIATO YouTube Channel Thread (puro wrestling godsend)

If you ever wanted to jump into the Japan scene, but either don't know how or don't know where to start, or don't want to mess with downloads, the above link is all you need in one tidy place.

MrLARIATO uploads everything. EVERYTHING. If it airs in Japan, and it's not Dragon Gate (or a few other smaller groups that make copyright claims), you will find it on this channel, and he will have it up within days (if not hours) after it airs.

What's great about this channel, is he uploads the entire show match by match, and then groups the individual matches into a playlist. This gives you the option of cherry picking the matches you are interested in, or simply hitting play and watching the whole show in one continuous stream. Just click "playlist" on the banner, and all of the matches will be condensed into separate playlists for each show.

No Dragon Gate on YouTube, no problem.

I don't know how this guy gets away with it, but the above link will take you to Open The Dragon Gate, which has every episode of Infinity uplaoded within days of airing, and also has every Dragon Gate PPV ever held. The site is clean, professional looking, and the video quality is to of the line.

The "Gate of Destiny" PPV I have been raving about can be found right on the first page, along with all of the recent Infinity episodes.

That stuff is also in really nice quality. I have no idea what I am watching, but sometimes I like a bit of a wrestling fix and this is more my style

Do they do tag rules different in Japan? I'm in the first match, and it seemed like they started caring about tags, but about 5 minutes in, guys just started changing

The PPV you suggested, first match. They start off tagging, but pretty soon they are all in the ring, and it's almost never the 'active' wrestler who is back in there fighting again afterwards

Yeah, that's the Dragon Gate style. The roots of the style are tied to lucha libre, so the tag rules are liberal and the matches are really fast paced. It's not indicitive of the traditional puro style.

Dragon Gate is a little wacky, they also do a lot of tounge in cheek stuff that pokes fun at wrestling a little bit, but they walk that fine line nicely.

Let me know what you think when you are done. Particularly the main events and the wacky cage match.

MrLARIATO got nabbed for a copyright infringement again, so he's on the move as SenorLariato. You can find him here:

The MrLariato page is still up.
