For the first 5 minutes of the fight, Mayhem was doing work.

IMO he kinda beat himself. :/

Terrible performance from Mayhem. How the hell do you gas after 1 round in your big return?

Bisping didn't even look too great and I still want to see him fight a top ten 185er before throwing him at Silva (or Sonnen or Munoz).

If he can beat someone like Belfort or Okami in the spring, then give the guy a title shot late next year....preferably in the UK.

Mayhem is a bum. No excuse for being that bad of shape and his entrance was wack as hell. Disappointing all around.

Bisping looked like shit as well, but at least he won and kept his place in line for a title shot.

FW Final was dope. BW was pretty good, too. I don't think Dodson sticks to 135.

I liked Ferguson/Edwards. It sucked to see Yves lose, but LOL @ 30-27 Ferguson.

Dana says it was the most lopsided fight in UFC history, and he might not be bringing Miller back.

That's a bit harsh. Miller won the first round, and he's hardly the first guy to ever gas.

The guy can cut a promo, even if they think he stinks they can still use him to put over guys that they like on the way up.

I tend to think there are other issues at pay, like I said other guys have gassed, and bums like Dan Hardy NEVER win or look good and keep a spot.

Too bad Mayhem isn't a Brit or Chinese.

IMVHO, Miller won the first round. Bisping started landing shot after shot and, TBH, both fighters looked a little gassed. Miller, actually gave up. When he went to his corner, he didn't even look dazed. His face was fucked up, but, he looked fully coherent and just said "I'm really tired."

I honestly expected more, I didn't think Mayhem would go 5 full rounds, but, I certainly didn't expect what I saw out of him. It's like he gassed himself keeping Bisping on the ground in that hybrid leg/body triangle he had going.

Was thinking last night after the fight, would not shock me at all if they end up cutting Mayhem. That was that shitty a performance after the first round.

The only reason I wouldn't cut him is why hand him over to Bellator? Plus, he's still got a name in the meanstream to a very small degree. They shouldn't be in the business of cutting names who can fill a PPV card in 2012 when they increase that number again.

I'd keep him around and book him against someone like Cung Le or CB Dolloway next and see if he can get a win. If not, let him go. If he can, bring him along.

BTW, Brandao ends up making $80,000 in bonuses alone, not counting whatever money he makes from showing and winning (probably $20,000).

Best fight and submission last night....he should be able to get a nice house in Brazil for his mom with that money.

Dodson gets $60,000 in bonus money from his best KO on the show and best KO during the TUF season.
