The eastern time zone is the only real time zone.

          GMT minus what now?

GMT+0 is the original six of timezones.

You know your team is tough when you led 3-0 after 4 minutes, 9-0 at the final buzzer and no one from the opposing team even had the balls to take a roughing penalty.

Calling out the Bruins is a bad choice.

Yeah well I'm doing it again. Tuuka Rask simultaneously proves that Tim Thomas is overrated and that Henrik is the best goalie in the world.

I've seen enough now to conclude that the Boston Bruins are absolutely the toughest, deepest and most skilled team in the Eastern Conference other than the Rangers. Jan 21, Feb 14, Mar 4, Apr 1 are the games which will decide the top seed and Pittsburgh, Philly and whatever patchwork Southeast team which actually manages to hide their deficiencies for the rest of the year can all get the fudge out of the title race.

Hard to say a guy is blind when you have nothing but Boston logo's under your user name.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

                    "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

                      Thomas .940%, 1.90 GAA ... Backup .949%, 1.49 GAA
                      Henrik .939%, 1.89 GAA ... Backup .922%, 2.06 GAA

The stats aren't lying. Tim Thomas is being outplayed by his backup, there's no way he's as important to the Bruins as Hank is to the Rangers.

Thomas was only "really important" when the playoffs came. Boston is really a depth team who had no real reason to win the cup but had one of the best performances from a goalie.

It was similar when Osgood was doing shit for Detroit. Is Osgood elite? Hell no. But he stood on his head for playoff games, and enjoyed having a massive depth heavy team in front of him. Ask him how his time in St. Louis went.

If the Rangers don't have the king, they don't make the playoffs. If Boston doesn't have Thomas, they don't win last years cup..but they still make the playoffs with Rask who isn't shit either.

Premature bump which may all end in tears.

                            Suck it Bruins!

This is shameful officiating. The toughest two teams in the league and the powerplays are 4-0.
