If you grab the fence to stop a TD you should have to concede the takedown and be put in side control

Grabbing the fence to stop a TD is such a huge moment in a fight, guys are blatantly grabbing the fence with no penalty, I believe Tito is still the only fighter ever to get a point deduction foe grabbing the fence

Do you trust the refs to be able to distinguish from when a fighter puts his hand on the cage and when they put the fingers through the fence?

I wouldn't be opposed to it if first the offending guy gets a warning on his first time.

Easy to tell, you put your fingers in, you see the fence get pulled, call it

Think it's a tough one. The first time it gets called and the video evidence shows he didn't actually grab, it's just another thing that the refs will get blasted over. I agree that the punishment (basically nothing) as it is now does not fit the crime. However, I think that would be a tough one to implement
