Eh...Cena is a few weeks away from his feud with Rock really going full retard...they'll blow off the Kane feud on a RAW main event or something.

In reality, Sheamus just won himself a mid card match.
That's the sad part. I remember when the Rumble was a HUGE deal, because it would catapult a guy like Austin or HBK into a big deal and a world champion and likely the biggest guy in the industry for that year (different going up against WCW though, which only furthers the point). Now, it's not really a big deal when guys like Del Rio and Sheamus are coming from the B-show, to be put into a match that is overshadowed x1,000 next to UT's match, the Raw title match, and something like Rock/Cena.

They need to acknowledge the Raw title holds much more weight than the SD title, and is the only title that really matters. And if you win, you face the Raw champ at WM. Because this SD stuff is just a cop-out that really makes Royal Rumble, one of the FEW things from the past that has maintained it's weight, lose it's credibility as a big deal. It's not even 1/2 as big of a deal as the MITB, which is a huge storyline, everyone knows that guy usually wins the title, and is better at getting someone over as a main eventer. I never thought I'd see the day where the RR is 2nd fiddle as it pertains to gimmick PPVs.

It seems like everything in the WWE is booked to lose credibility. I doubt McMahon really gives 3/4 of half a shit at this point. He'll dedicate months and months of booking and airtime to get wastes of space like Cole and Vicki over. He's making money hand over fist to just dick around at this point. Between that and them being damn-near run out of business in the mid-90s, when the quality was miles better, it's proof that I'll never understand this business even a little bit.
