Not sure I'm a big fan of the Maicon signing...this basically means my dude Micah Richards gets blocked from developing more once he comes back from injury.

Supposedly we signed Javi Martinez as well

Meh....not their best (Maicon) for me. After seeing him play for the last 2 years, he either looked disinterested or looked shite. Sux for you Zabaleta/Richards.

Javi Garcia is far better, although makes you laugh more at Rodwell and his "dream" move.

Rodwell has been absolutely dreadful when he's seen the pitch so far.

Tevez has been brilliant. Scored in every game, he always look dangerous when he has the ball.

Overall solid performance against QPR. Need to improve on putting away some of the opportunies to score they had. Let QPR stick a little too much.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is back in training after recovering from a knee injury.

Aguero, 24, has not played since City's first Premier League game of the season, when he was taken off in the 14th minute after being hurt in a challenge by Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne.

Manager Roberto Mancini has since said he hoped Aguero would be fit after the international break although it remains to be seen if the forward can make his comeback in time for Saturday's trip to Stoke.

City then go to the Bernabeu Stadium on Tuesday to begin their Champions League campaign against Real Madrid - a game that Aguero, as a former Atletico Madrid player, is particularly keen to win.

"I was never on the winning side against them so let's hope with City we can beat them," he said. "It will be difficult. Right now Real and Barcelona are among the best teams in the world, but we have a great team too."

The Argentina international joined City from Atletico for £38 million in the summer of 2011 and scored 30 goals in his debut season at the Etihad Stadium, including the title-winning strike against QPR on the final day.
Would love to see him back for the Real game.

Another poor result IMO. We need to start cashing in on these opportunities to put teams AWAY. We have been able to grab 1-0 leads and shit, but are struggling to get that 2nd goal that will put teams away. I fucking hate Arsenal, so giving up that late goal today to draw made me rage. :kompany:

16 goals conceded in 8 matches so far in all comps including the Community Shield.

                      Thats a problem.

Martinez has looked good so far, but what happened to De Jong? Is he buried in Mancini's dog house? The football City has played so far isn't exactly flowing, and I'd much rather have De Jong in my team than Barry

De Jong plays for Milan now. I've always been a Barry hater but De Jong was not the answer to that problem.

Ooooh right. I knew that as I congratulated my AC loving friend on him. Nevermind

We need to go into Craven Cottage and get 3 points. Tired of all these bummy draws.
