    Suarez is a 'disgrace'

Sir Alex Ferguson says Luis Suarez is a 'disgrace' and should never play for Liverpool again after the striker refused to shake Manchester United captain Patrice Evra's hand.

Suarez was making his first start for Liverpool at Old Trafford on Saturday since returning from an eight-match suspension after being found guilty of racially abusing Evra during the reverse meeting at Anfield in October.

Much of the pre-match build-up had been dominated by whether the two players would shake hands before kick-off but, after Evra offered his hand, Suarez ignored the gesture.

Evra then grabbed Suarez by the arm before the Uruguay international's offer of a handshake was snubbed by United defender Rio Ferdinand.

There was subsequently a bust-up between the players in the tunnel at half-time before Evra celebrated United's 2-1 win at the final whistle by jumping around near Suarez.

Red Devils boss Ferguson was stunned by Suarez's refusal to shake Evra's hand and offered a damning verdict after the match, which saw the champions move to the top of the Premier League table.

"I could not believe it, I just could not believe it," Ferguson told Sky Sports.

"He's a disgrace to Liverpool Football Club, that certain player should not be allowed to play for Liverpool again.

"The history that club's got and he does that and in a situation like today could have caused a riot.

"I was really disappointed in that guy, it was terrible what he did."

I was going to post something similar. Somehow Suarez is the one who does it? As if he has the right to do so? Fuck off. And fuck Dalglish. Spends all week saying it won't be a big deal, then his dip shit player goes out and does this

I was trying to find a video of Evra dancing around Suarez and came across this.

Yeah lets completely ignore Evra acting like a giant cunt at the end of the game. He was celebrating like an idiot right next to Suarez, walking with him the whole way.

Evra made more of a show of the handshake then Suarez by trying to grab his arm anyways.

We're ignoring Evra acting like a douche because Suarez acted like a significant douche first with the handshake. If Suarez had simply done what he was supposed to, much of what transpired after doesn't happen. And if Evra does still celebrate like an asshole, he actually looks like an asshole instead of still managing to come out of this looking better than Suarez.

If Daglish had actually tried to hold some accountability to Suarez instead of "unconditionally supporting him", this would not have happened.

Liverpool are coming out of this looking fucking awful. Anyone but defensive, reactionary Liverpool supporters can see that.

Exactly. There were two scenarios here. Shake the hand and everything plays out fine. Or don't shake the hand and look like a fool.

Evra did exactly what I would have done if I were in a situation like that. I'm sure most of us would.

I was expecting you to defend your boy cuz youre a good fan. I just wish in this situation you would have been a bit smarter.

We all know what happened. Paddy tried to shake his hand and deal with it. Luis had none of it.

Then at HT, if its true what ESPN reported, and thats a BIG IF. Then its even worse for Luis. Paddy tried to talk to him and he still wanted nothing.

Then at Anfield getting booed by fans for being abused, and being responsible for Kuyts goal.

At the end, if he wanted to celebrate at the Stretford End, so be it and he has my full blessing. He could have rubbed it in more as far as im concerned.

                  Rio Ferdinand:
"We controlled the game. It was almost like a walk in the park at times. Things could have been put to bed a little easier had the [pre-match] handshake been done. After seeing what I saw, I decided not to shake [Suarez's] hand... I lost all respect for the guy after that... The result was the most important thing, though."
What he did seem to piss off the lads.

If Suarez thinks Evra is a liar, then he shouldn't shake his hand.

And if Evra knows Suarez wants nothing to do with him, why try and talk to him in the tunnel at half time? Evra was trying to provoke Suarez and play mind games with him. Thats the whole point of him celebrating next to Suarez, to make Suarez do something to dumb and to be in his face about it.

Also, this photo shows otherwise about Suarez not extending his hand:

You can't see Suarez's hand in the gif until after he passes Evra.

Meh. This one looks like he was extending it to De Gea.

Yeah those videos do make it look like Suarez avoids him. I still don't have a problem with it. Suarez thinks he is a liar and cost him 8 games, so he shouldn't shake his hand. Evra shouldn't have grabbed his arm either though.

Also, Suarez didn't even make a show out of it by skipping Evra. He just wasn't going to shake his hand and thats that. Evra felt the need to grab his arm, approach him in the tunnel at half time of a game, and then dance around him at the end. Evra was much more childish then Suarez was.
