Just listened back, I think we did a good job, it sounded clean, we weren't talking over each other, etc.
I think the content was a bit niche, but that's the nature of an awards/year in review kind of show, you can't really ignore the rest of the globe on something like that.
The show cuts off abruptly because Fed's computer crashed, but not before we managed to put larry over and plug his thread, so yeah.Comment

Fed, stop talking over JoeJoeJoe, faggot! He's your "color" guy...pitch your shit to him and let him talk, fruit pop.Comment
-
Youtube shit. New Japan has a lot of stuff online. Go watch some Tanahashi, Sekimoto, etc.Comment

You guys are getting better as you go on...not talking over each other than much.Comment

I only had a chance to listen through about half of it so far. Good work. I'd listen if you do this regularly.
The quality was good. Like Larry says, there wasn't much awkwardness or cohesion issues. Having the guys talking over each other constantly, or waiting on each other constantly, can kill an otherwise-good cast. I did note Joe dropping a lot of "ums", but that might be due at least partly since I tend to do the same myself.
Liked the topics, at least through the first half. If you guys continue on with it, I'm hoping you keep the wide focus rather than getting too focused on the WWE.Comment

Man, you faggots dropped just as you were getting to the good stuff.
Shameful.
And yeah, I can't tell JoeJoeJoe is from Jersey at all...how about you try emphasizing the A in my name more. Holy fuck.
LAAAAAAAAAAAAAArry. Sounded like my mother saying my name.
But otherwise, solid job all around.
I like.
Maybe I'll grace you with my presence for a post-WrestleMania show after I go to all these events.Comment

To be fair, I asked fed to not let me ramble on and to keep it moving. I mean, I can go on forever with this stuff. We ended up going way over time anyway. I feel like anything over 60 min is kinda pushing it attention span wise for people listening, but I guess you guys can judge that.
Anyway, I thought the chemistry was pretty good for the first time. Im taking this way too seriously, I noticed a few things I want to work on and took some notes. Thanks for the feedback, keep it coming.Comment

For me, I listen to podcasts that can go for 3h when the boys just talk, and considering I listen to podcasts at work, I don't mind.
If you keep me interested and flow correctly and segment in and out properly, I can listen to a podcast for hours.
One thing I'd do is work a little on post production.
A wrestling podcast should be segmented off with some sounders and whatnot.
You guys went over an hour, but it didn't feel like it, and I felt as though you just dropped in the middle of a conversation, despite you guys winding down and bringing the show to a close. Should have re-started the call after Fed got his shit back and just finished it up and merged it in post-pro.
My suggestion would to not have arbitrary cut off times.
You're making this shit for 20 people on VSN that would listen anyway. Don't let it drag on, but don't cut it off arbitrarily, either.Comment

Larry and Rob need an MMA show.
We can call it
"Larry and Rob's MMA Show for Bums"
A sample...
"So Larry, who is your bum of the week?"
"For the 53rd straight week...the award goes to LiquidRob! Congrats, Rob!"Comment

Well, we normally would have some post-production but after a 15-hour work day, didn't really feel like re-recording an outro at 12:30 a.m. or editing the entire thing.
Also, we dropped in the middle of the convo because my computer crashed lol, it wasn't really the intention.Comment

Sure sure.
That sounds very Chris Sanner of you.Comment
