    The Bundesliga Thread

I thought I would amke this thread. Been meaning to do it. Bayern lost to Leverkusen today 2-0 thanks to a howler from Manuel Nauer. Seems a theme from him this year.

Them losing puts a serious dent into their title hopes. In fact I think its over, and a win from Dortmund today could seal the deal for back to back titles from them.

And a sidenote, Mame Diouf who United just sold got another goal today for Hannover.....(assholes)

I actually haven't been watching that much Bundesliga of late, but I did earlier in the season. Bayern are a world class side in terms of talent but they don't have that "unbeatable" aura you would expect out of a genuine world class side. Neither do Dortmund, really, but they are so young.

Hamburg got hammered today but happy they are out of the relegation zone.

Bayern looked clear and away the third best side in Europe earlier in the season, didn't expect them to stumble like this.

Also, Freiburg pulled a shock to defeat Schalke this morning.

Gladbach has to get a result tomorrow against Koln to prevent Dortmund from running away with it

That Bayern - Leverkusen game was really exciting. Bayern missed some really good opportunities and ultimately, it ended up costing them the game. Just an all around fun game to watch.

Now if only Comcast could get me the soccer channels in HD...

The Bundesliga consistently provides excitement. The goals-per-match average is one of the highest in Europe, they rarely have scoreless draws, and the individual player quality is high. I still favor the Prem but the Bundesliga is not far behind it. I'm far more likely to sit and watch a Bundesliga match where I have no vested interested in either side than I am for the Prem.

                  Worth a good laugh.

Playing rock, paper, scissors to see who gets to take the FK.

Im gonna put this here since I dont want to make a Bayern thread.

Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben had to be dragged apart by team-mates after a dressing room bust-up midway through Bayern Munich's Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.

Scores stay the same as they are now and Dortmund will be the champions elect

I think they wrapped it up. I was watching the Clasico and they made mention that Dortmund went back to back on tat azz. Kudos to them.

Yup, good for them. Hopefully they can build on their CL experience this year and get out of the group stages next year

Nice to see Dortmund win it again. They are a fun side to watch. If they can keep most of the side together for another couple of years, they could really become a force in Europe.

Winning two years in a row is a real accomplishment. Congrats to Dortmund, especially after losing Sahin.
