Day to Day NHL Playoffs Predictions Thread

With the ever changing playoff picture, thought it could be interesting to see all the changes and how people think the playoffs would change based on certain teams getting in or moving up. Will be interesting to see if anyone changes their Stanley Cup champion as the weeks progress.

Notes
- East is a two team race IMO between the Pens and the Rangers.
- West after the first round is a crap shoot. But I think Vancouver can repeat back in.
- I do base a lot of this on the news today of Crosby coming back. If he comes back, I think this is a fairly safe play if he plays like he did earlier in the season.

Well the Atlantic changed big time tonight with a Rangers loss effectively making the 1 seed a 2 horse race again.

The Rangers have a huge 7 game homestand coming up including some very weak opponents but also Pittsburgh and Detroit all pretty much spaced one day apart. I would like to see 10 pts and definitely a win against the Pens in that span.

Did you even fucking read the damn top where it says DAY TO DAY. As in any time someone wants to make a prediction they can do so as the standings change. I did nothing of the sort of setting up the easy road, as I do believe Ottawa can knock off Boston and the 3rd seed is a joke seed at this point considering they would be in 7th if it was done by poiints.

I even noted in the bottom the I feel either way it shapes up, New York and Pittsburgh are the two teams to beat in the East.

Bruins are probably the only team I wouldn't want Ottawa to face and don't have any confidence in beating. Add Penguins as well. Tired of that match up. Would be more comfortable in 6th going into playoffs tbh. Not a free pass but better than Boston.

Woah man, don't get too angry. I'm sorry if it seemed harsh, it's just that time of year I hate anything related to Pittsburgh. I can definitely make you feel better though by saying that I'm petrified to see Bryz in net against you guys in the first round. I wish that he can at least have a playoff primer before facing you guys.

Washington has it easy. Mon/TB are toast. Fla/NYR should be locked in by those games.

Although Buffalo has a free 4pts from the Maple Lolz, Phi/Bos could also be playing for nothing..
