    Yeah, man. Since February, I developed a sudden obsession with the armdrag and started to watch nothing but Marcelo matches. By mid-March it finally "clicked" for me and combined with the fact that I've got a decent butterfly guard (for a white belt), it only made sense to jump on the Marcelo wave full-time. Sans the X-Guard shit, his approach is simple and plays to my immediate strengths.

      master the guillotine, it's the most powerful sub in no gi grappling IMO, guillotine, north south choke and the rear naked, make it your game, guillotines and North Souths can be hit from almost all positions

      Marcelo uses more of a 1 Leg X Guard now, pretty good stuff, all his game is so simple and broken down for max efficiency
