Just getting back...but, overall, it was an ok show.
I don't think DG gave us anything close to Richards/Elgin, but they gave fans that tuned in a lot of *** to ***1/2 type stuff. Nothing great, but a lot of good.
If the right eyes were there this weekend, a dude like AR Fox should be off to TNA or WWE Developmental or something. He's still a little raw, but that flippy fuck will be on national television someday.
What is going on with CIMA? Kind of shit booking.
OK, you play the "injury" card to get the belts off of him...
Then he comes back the very next night. LOLWut?
Outside of one good match with Fit Finlay, I don't think I get the appeal of Sami Callihan. He's most assuredly at home in CZW or any other reject fed that harbors the remnants of support that crave for more Juggalo Championship Wrestling...I guess I can see why he's pushed...he kind of looks like a dollar store ECW type...but I just don't feel'em...I guess I'm beyond that kind of hardcore wrestling at this point in my life. Same with Arik Cannon and that god awful Pinkie Sanchez.
I love Sabu, but c'mon man. I want to drink beer with Sabu, not see him kill himself in front of 300 people anymore.
Chuck Taylor needs some work, but he could be a nice heel...he's a funny dude.
GENERICO was a nice surprise.
The Scene is awful...but to her credit, I still think Shelly Martinez looks insanely hot in person. I'd do the naughtiest things to her, fo sho.
Gargano-Yoshino was the typical fare I was talking about...a nice *** to ***1/2 match. Not great, definitely not bad...just good.
Six man wasn't as good as past ones, but again, nothing insulting, but nothing great...another *** to ***1/2 match type thing.
Overall, if you spent the $16.98 for SIX hours of iPPV DGUSA action...I think getting a good number of GOOD matches, was well worth it and I think would at least keep you checking in on the product and potentially buying a PPV or two in the future depending on what they are selling...the fact that there was no technical glitches as far as I know have to help that as well. I spent $40 for it live and I think it was worth every penny.
Overall weekend...$70 for like 10 hours of wrestling live, with a MOTY Contender and a slew of *** to ***1/2 types...
I'll consider that nothing but win for the little guys this weekend.
