I didn't really watch it and I haven't been aw to read about it. Who cross checked Crosby and why?

Was it foul play by the Flyers? How did it all start? Anybody deserve to be suspended?

The cross-check on Crosby was sideshow way before the incident. 10 minutes before type of timeframe. The fights started because the Pens put their 4th line out when the game was over and one of them caught Giroux dangling Scott Stevens style.

One more game in the regular season then hopefully a playoff matchup full of angst for these two. I won't deny that the playoffs became even more enticing after this game.

Typical Flyers game. Take cheap shots all game, and then when your guy gets laid out on a legal hit, immediately send all 5 guys on the ice after the guy and start throwing punches. Then, after the game, have the coach bitch and moan. What a bunch of cocksuckers.

Typically in hockey 5 guys are already out on the ice. Also let's forget Malkin elbowing Giroux in the head and Crosby getting away with at least 3 slashing calls. Also lets forget Vitale going after Grossman twice, the second time taking him out of the game and injuring him for 7-10 days. It's ok though, the Flyers are the wrong ones for defending a teammate after a big hit, that never happens in hockey.

The media has really interpreted this thing very unfairly. You'd think Bobby Clarke had just given Crosby the tap in an otherwise friendly game. It's sensationalist crap, but I guess we'll have to deal with this more often since hockey is being exposed to more Americans now than in recent years.

EDIT: Nothing against the Americans who actually watch hockey, as opposed to the ones who ESPN are trying to rile up with misleading analysis.

Get their shit pushed in? LOL. Flyers won the game 6-4. They are 5-0 in the Penguins new arena. They are 4-1 against them this season. But oh wait, they checked the smallest guy on our team when he had his head down, and they tried to fight a guy who had stitches in his face from the game before when he took a puck off his face. I personally have always liked the way the Flyers play hockey because as most of you know by the bounty thread, I'm an unstable nutjob who enjoys violence. And the Sharks are complete pussies and I wish they played with an edge.

But I guess I'll have to see the highlights before I pass judgment.

Fuck you guys who said the Flyers were cheap-shotting the whole game, as Obst pointed out the Penguins were way dirtier. And it's nice to see nobody mentioned that Crosby body checked Schenn 5 seconds before Schenn cross checked him, that's what started the whole thing you idiots.

No issue with the Vitale hit on Briere, Danny needs to keep his head up in the middle of the ice, that's his own fault. I also have absolutely zero respect for Crosby and Malkin as players, they have to be two of the dirtiest players in the league but never get called on it.
